Douglas "Dougie" Clark Arnold, 8, a resident of The Dalles, Ore., died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.
He was born June 29, 2003, in Vancouver, Wash., the youngest of five children to Douglas Lee Arnold and Sandra Dee Arnold. He grew up in Vancouver, Wash., moving to The Dalles with his family in October 2010. He attended Dry Hollow Elementary School, loved playing his Nintendo DS, Pokemon and going to Mc-Donalds.
He is survived by his Momma, Sandra Darnielle Arnold, The Dalles; his sisters, K im Arnold, The Dalles; Debra Pat -tersen and her husband Jeremiah, Battle Ground, Wash.; and Shelly Goodel l and her husband Daniel, Washougal, Wash.; his grandmother, Lou Roberts and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Clark Darnielle, uncles, Jim and Harry Darnielle and paternal grandparents. He was joined in death by his daddy Douglas Lee Arnold.
Viewing will be Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spencer, Libby and Powell Chapel.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at IOOF Threemile Cemetery with Pastor Tim Foster officiating.
A celebration of life will follow the graveside service at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge.
Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank to the "Doug and Dougie Arnold Memorial Fund."
