ORA SCHNELL - The funeral for Ora Schnell, 90, of Hitchcock, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Okeene. Paul Evans, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Omega Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Omega. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga. He was born April 6, 1916, in Okeene to John and Martha Hein Schnell and died Monday, April 2, 2007. He married Losie Schaffler Grentz in 1938. She died in 1993. They farmed and raised cattle for many years. In 1966 they moved to Watonga. He continued to raise wheat and worked for Blaine County road maintenance department and a local lumberyard. He later married Evelyn Scheffler White of Hitchcock. He was a member of Okeene Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are his wife Evelyn Schnell of Hitchcock; one son, De-Wane of Watonga; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his first wife Losie, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
