Laguria Burris Griffith Bunch was born December 16, 1916 to Magnolia Shoate and Christopher Burris in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma. She departed this life July 27, 1996 in her home.

She attended school in the Fort coffee Spiro School district. At the age of 16 she married Liget Bunch November 5, 1933. To this union ten children were born.

She united with Mt. Triumph Baptist Church at an early age; then with Macedonia Church of God; later with Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. where she worked faithfully until her health began to fail.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 62 years, Ligvet; her 10 children and their spouses; seven sisters; two brothers; fifty grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Laguria was preceded in death by her father & mother, three sisters; Alice Williams, Nina Dew, and Thelma Green, and one brother; Ernest Steele.
