Harry Marteen Anderson was born January 17, 1890 in Caney, Montgomery County, Kansas, to Robert Marion Anderson and Emma Josephine (Wright) Anderson. He was one of eight children.
Mr. Anderson married Cora Lee Gallahone on February 7, 1909 in Copan, Washington County, Oklahoma. They were the parents of: Robert M, Starlin, Violet May, Verneal Ray, and Victor Gene Anderson. Harry and Cora's marriage was dissolved after 1924. He then married a lady named Sara Shepard who died in 1931 and they had one child, Harry Marteen Anderson, Jr. He then married Meacy Noel Wilson on November 14, 1959, in Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma. No children were born of this marriage that are known.
Harry Marteen Anderson, Jr., age 75, died in 06 January 1966 in Washington County, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held and burial was in the Dewey Cemetery, Dewey, Washington County, Oklahoma.
