Joe Arruda, 85, of Middletown died April 10 in Vallejo. Arruda was born in the Azores Island and lived in Middletown for the last 19 years. He was a longshoreman and member of the Silver Tips.
Joe is survived by his wife, Minnie, of Middletown and a daughter Alice Mahoney of Napa. Services were held April 13 at St.. Joseph's Catholic Church in Middletown, and followed by burial in the Middletown Cemetery.
