Robert Allsup, farmer residing on Rural Route 1, Riverton, was found dead near his home late yesterday by his brother, Alonzo, with whom he resided. Death apparently had occurres some hours previously from a heart attack.

Alonzo Allsup had been away from home during the day and made the discovery when he returned about 6 p.m.

Surviving are his brother; three sisters, Mrs. George DeFrates [sic] and Mrs. Willis [sic] Ingals [sic], both of Springfield; and Mrs. James Farley, of Riverton.

Funeral services were held at the residence at 1 p.m. and at 2 p.m. at the Riverton Methodist church.

Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
