He was born January 12, 1959 in Lafayette, IN, the son of Paul Monroe Benton Sr. and Ida Mae Scott Benton.
He owned and operated Benton Appliance Repair and was a member of V.F.W. Post 4549 Auxiliary.
Marshall married Juanita Dunlap Brown June 19, 1992 and she preceded him in death August 12, 2006.
He is survived by his son, David; two daughters, Angie Ellis and Chastity Benton; two brothers, Paul Jr. and John F. Benton; four sisters, Paulette Pethtel, Rosella Watts, Debra Myers, and Frances Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Carl, Chester, and Warren Benton.
Memorial service was held at Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson.
