Matilda Irene Lansing is my 2nd great uncle's wive, my aunt. She was born on July 30th 1844 somewhere in New York, she would die on Feb 4th 1930 in Cortland, Cortland County, New York. According to the Syracuse Herlad Newspaper dated Feb 6th 1930 Thursday, she was laid to rest on Feb 8th 1930 in Delphi Falls, Onondaga County, New York by her late husband, my uncle Egbert V Thompson. Her funeral services were held by the Delphi Falls Baptist Church. Her survivors are her sister Mrs H.P. Hancock of West Uion, Iowa, a grand daughter Mrs Jesse Owns of Cortland, New York and a grandson Lloyd Thopmson of Florida and 4 great grand children. Thats about all I have been able to find on her and the family so far.
