Mrs. Josephine Eastman, widow of George H. Eastman, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home here at the age of 72 years.
Mrs. Eastman, nee Josephine Desotell, was a native of Elizabethtown. She was born June 30, 1882, a daughter of Silas and Ellen (McManus) Desotell.
She resided in Westport after her marriage to Mr. Eastman in 1906. He was an automobile dealer and operator of a hardware, plumbing and heating business here until his death in February, 1951.
Mrs. Eastman is survived by one daughter, Miss Luella Eastman, and one sister, Mrs. Noel H. Shackett.
The body is at the Eastman Home. Funeral services will be held at St. Philip Neri Church on Friday morning at 10. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
