Uncle Art , and Aunt Bernice used to live next door to us in Mount Clemens Michigan on Donaldson Street. They never had any kids of their own . They did adopt a girl name of Deborah, we all called her Debby. And they always had alot of foster children they took care of from Saint Vincent DePaul Childrens Home in Detroit . There also were three other girls that were living there from Saint Vincents untill they graduated and got married. Their names were Josephine ,Gloria and Ruth, who seemed as if they were our cousins also. In our family we had 7 kids so there was always alot of children on our street to play with growing up.
Aunt Bernice liked to work in her flower gardens ,she loved to cook, and take care of the children that stayed with them. She loved to play cards with family when there were barbeques or partys going on.
She was my fathers' sister ,the second child born toDavidandIrene.
She passed away around the time the 2 oldest girls Josie and Gloria were to Graduate , it was a sad time for the family, She had a heart attack.
