JOSEPHINE AMATO BAHMILLER Born in San Francisco, CA on June 23, 1911, died in Oakland, CA on June 19, 2003. She was the beloved wife of John Bahmiller for 33 years and the loving mother of Shirley Koenig of Pleasanton and Barbara Fritz of Corona del Mar. She was the dear grandmother of Cheryl Morgan (Ben) of Florida, Deborah Isaacs (Don) of Hawaii, Eric Fritz of San Diego, Kirk Fritz (Rachael) of Hawaii. She was the great grandmother of Anne Marie Morgan and Carrel Morgan of Florida. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. She was a member of the Fratalanza Club, Berkeley Sons of Italy, St. Jarlath Catholic Church, and the Senior Center of the Greek Orthodox Church. Her first husband, John Amato preceded her in death. Friends are invited to call at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Chapel of the Chimes on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in San Pablo, CA.
