Edward C. Bajorek, born January 18, 1920 in Chicago, IL, passed away at Chateau de Nortre Dame on June 6, 2013 at 6:30 a.m. Beloved husband of Bertha "Bea" Bajorek, he was Assistant Regional Manager of Commercial Union Insurance Company for 35 years. His body was donated to Tulane University willed Body Program. In lieu of flowers, contributions to . He is also survived by his step children; Lyn Karol Blumenthal, Gary Blumenthal (Marcia) and two brothers; Edwin and Leonard (Lou) Bajorek. He was preceded in death by his sister Elsie Jaske and brother Henry Bajorek. He was a veteran of WWII and worked on the American/Mexican Border and was injured. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Chateau de Notre Dame Hospice. A memorial will be celebrated on June 22, 2013 at St. Angela Merici at 11:00 a.m. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Reception after services.
