On Friday, September 3, Alfred "Paul" Arnold was rushed by ambulance to the Lake Medical Center, with every medical effort received he left this world to live with our Heavenly Father. Paul was raised to be a simple man, to believe in God, Honor, Truth, Compassion, Fairness, and to have the Passion of Conviction to see it through. His school included winning many ribbons for the Track and Field Team. He was an advocate in helping raising money for the March of Dimes, winning a bike, and later a car for his tireless efforts. He was also in the founding years of the JROTC Program, then later graduating from Columbia High School. He later joined the United States Army, in 1979, to serve his country, serving stateside and overseas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Paul Arnold Sr., Mary Ann Zealey Arnold (all in one year's time). He was a Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Nephew … and a very best friend. Spending time with the family was his upmost enjoyment in life. His wife, Tammy Jo Rogers Arnold, preceded in death his daughter Natasha Kate Arnold, his daughter Brooks Sherea Arnold Bailey (Michael), his son Brandon Paul Arnold (Hilliary), his Grandchildren Christian Scott Selph, Zoe Katelyn Bailey, Austin Michael Bailey, Zackery Tyler Bailey, his brother Charles Elliot Arnold, children Wayne (Denna), Edward Arnold, his sister Helen Marie Colley (Chris), children Skyler, His sister Cathy Strozier children Cindy (Jack) children Jesse, McKennah, Elise, Aliya, Alex Strozier, his sister Laura Lindboe (Peter) children PJ , Heather. His heart was as strong and caring as his drive, his grin mischievous, his smile ear-to-ear, his laughter touched your soul. On August 4, 1958, God put a (good guy) on earth, and on September 3, 2010, he called him home. Viewing today, Tuesday Sept. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW Main Blvd. Lake City Florida. Funeral services Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. at Guerry Funeral Home Chapel. Ordained Minister Dustin Troy Crews affiliating. Interment will be at Falling Creek Chapel Cemetery .
