Mrs. Aplin died at home Wednesday, March 20, 1996, after a long illness. A native of Honolulu HI, she lived in Fairfield the past 39 years. She retired as a nurses aid from NorthBay Medical Center in 1981 and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Aplin was a member of the Church of God for 16 years and enjoyed arts and crafts and was known for her expertise in flower arranging.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, son, two brothers, and five grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the Church of God with the Rev. Glen W. Green officiating.
