Yugoslav Royalty. Cadet descendant of the Serbian dynasty Karađorđević as the third son of the future king of Yugoslavia Alexander I and related to the major European dynasties including Hohenzollern, Saxonia-Coburg-Gotha and Romanov, he never knew the honors of Royal Highness as an exile since 1941 after the Nazi occupation of his country. He lived essentially in England and the United States and was married three times, the first of which was to a Princess of Hesse. Andrej Karadjordjevic died of suicide at the age of sixty presumably due to severe depression.
