She lived in Philadelphia until she was six when her mother died in Feb. 1920.
At that time, she, Rollie & Frances lived with their Uncle Chet in Altoona, PA until her father married Ermina Dispasquantonia in 1921.
The family moved to Cleveland in 1928 when she was 14 & lived in the Collinwood area which was a large Italian community around 152nd & St. Clair Ave.
Onda graduated from Collinwood HS in June 1931 at 17 & married Roy Iafelice, he was 24, on Dec. 5. 1931.
Onda and Roy raised 4 children and were divorced in 1959.
Onda worked all of her adult life as a factory worker -- first at Cleveland Graphite Bronze and then Kerr-Lakeside where she met Al and retired in 1965.
She lost two fingers on her right hand in a machinery accident at work.
