Jerrilyn brought great joy to her family and friends. She was close to her husband, Scott. She had an identical twin and her twin is lost without her. She was also very close to her dad. She had such a wise and sensitive spirit. She never missed an opportunity to say a kind word to someone. She was the person who would notice someone sitting alone in a restaurant and secretly pay for their dinner. She was all about giving and loving others.
She was close to God and a prayer warrior for so many of us. She loved people and her favorite job was counseling veterans and the elderly in nursing homes. She was just starting to get her doctorate and her dream was to work at a Veteran's Hospital.
She had a special way with animals. Finding tiny birds that had fallen from the nest and bunnies and caring for them tenderly until they could be released in a safe place. She had two bunnies that she loved very much named, Herbie and Louie.
She was an artist, as well, and had started writing and illustrating a children's book. She loved horses, turquoise and silver jewelry, Christmas, cooking for family and friends, Johnny and June Carter Cash, antique stores, Eureka Springs, Roaring River, yard sales, and books...she could read a stack in a week! She also enjoyed going home to Texas to see her Dad,and being with family in Missouri and Oklahoma. The circle will be unbroken.
It is such a great comfort to think someone will visit here and read about her. I would like to thank Doris for her kindness in setting up this memorial.
