Mrs. Addie Brown, wife of Alonzo Brown died early Sunday morning, March 13, 1932 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry Hunter of 20 Cherry Street in Potsdam. She was born in Vermont on 2/17/1856, the daughter of Calvin and Caroline Smith Aldrich. Her marriage to Mr. Brown was solemnized in Brushton, NY on 10/18/1872.
She was survived by her husband, and daughters, Mrs. Henry (Nora) Hunter of Potsdam; Mrs. James Thomas (Nina) Rossley of New Bremen, NY (Penn in another obit) ; Mrs. Alex Richard of Alburg, NY; Mrs. P. P. Scherf of Philadelphia, PA; Mrs. Frank Amo of Norwood, NY; and two sons, Hollis of Glens Falls, NY and Claude, of Winthrop, NY. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Judson Clary of Syracuse and Brother, Charles Aldrich of Malone, NY and several grandchildren.
