Anna Christina "Stina" Andersdotter Lövdahl Öqvist (Americanized to Oquist), lived near Örebro, Sweden, most of her life. She was born in Hovstaby, in the parish of Hovsta. Her first child, Augusta, was born in 1847, before her marriage to Anders Larsson Öqvist, in 1849. Anna Christina's daughter, Amanda, immigrated to St. Louis in 1873, and moved to Tower, Montana in 1880, and Butte, before 1887. Anna Christina, and Amanda's daughter, Anna Louisa (raised by Anna Christina), immigrated to St. Louis, in June 1887, when Anna Christina was 60, and soon after, moved to Butte.

Married firstly, watchmaker, Carl Fredrik Andersson, had Carl Oscar, Knut Vilhelm, and Hugo Ferdinand (all born Andersson, all changed name to Olsson or Olson). Augusta married secondly, Stockholm building contractor, Olaus Bondesson (changed name to Olsson, which his children and step children also took), children Thure Fritiof, Sigrid Elvira, Olof Valfrid "Valla", Gustaf Werner, Augusta Viktoria, Axel Robert (died as infant), Ernst Rudolf "Rudy", Victor Emanuel. Five of Augusta's 11 children, from two marriages, emigrated to America, most living in Minnesota. One child, Hugo, first emigrated to St. Louis, where his grandmother Anna Christina was living, before she moved to Butte. Hugo is said to have lived in Chicago. One child of Augusta's, Werner, worked for the King of Sweden. "Valla," Victoria, Rudy, and Victor, immigrated to Minnesota.

Amanda Albertina Öqvist (Americanized to Oquist), b.30 Mar 1850 (later said to be born 1852) in Örebro Parish, Örebro County, Närke Province, Sweden. d.11 February 1929, in Butte, Silver Bow, Montana; Lived briefly in Stockholm, working at a couple cigar shops. Had a son, Adolf, and a daughter, Anna Lovisa (Louisa), by different fathers. Amanda's daughter was left with her parents, and her son was raised in Edsbro parish, Sweden. Amanda immigrated in 1873, through Boston, to St. Louis, Missouri. She married Joseph F. M. DeMars, in 1874. Moved to Tower, Montana, by 1880. Moved shortly after, to Butte. Also lived in Seattle (abt 1911-1928). Married, secondly, W. Albert Minger. Died in Butte, buried Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Carl Ferdinand Öqvist, b.6 May 1852 in ST:Nikolai, Örebro, Sweden. Died of Cholera, 22 October 1855.

Anna/Annie Maria Öqvist (Americanized to Oquist), b.21 June 1854, immigrated to St. Louis, Missouri. Married Christian E. Ramlose, children Clara Belle (Pitzman) and Harry Ramlose, died 19 January 1917, buried Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

Amalia Öqvist, b.1856. Married Hans Edvall, lived in Stockholm, and Sundsvall, Västernorrland, Sweden, until Hans died in 1908. Not sure of Amalia's whereabouts thereafter.

Kristina Elisabeth Öqvist, b.22 March 1858. Married Ulrik Petersson. Children: Tekla Amalia; Rikard Julius; Anna Elisabeth. Ulrik died in 1935, in Flen, Södermanland. Not sure if Kristina died before or after Ulrik.

Oskar Vilhelm Öqvist (Oscar William Oquist), b.1 Dec 1862, ST:Nikolai, Örebro, Sweden. Immigrated in 1880, to St. Louis, Missouri. Worked as a Foreman at the Phoenix Shoe Company, in St. Louis. Worked, and lived, near the Mississippi River, close to where the Gateway Arch is now located. d.28 Feb 1908, St Louis, Missouri. Buried Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis.

Anna Lovisa/Louisa Öqvist (Americanized to Oquist), 1872-1966. Amanda's daughter, raised by her grandparents. Immigrated with her grandmother in 1887, to St. Louis. Moved to Butte, Montana. Married Erastus/Rastus Thomas. Children Florence, Clarence, Doris, and one other. 1910 census still lists Anna Louisa as sister of Amanda. Amanda may have told her daughter, that she was her mother, and not her sister, at some point, but it is not known whether or not she ever told her.
