Death: Apr. 18, 1944

William Franklin Leffler was the son of Henry and Malinda Dean Leffler. He was born January 25, 1857. His obituary stated he was born in Evansville, Indiana and died April 18, 1944, in Emporia, Kansas. His last residence was in Allen, Kansas. An old family BIBLE has his birth location as near Elizabeth,Posey Township, Harrison County, Indiana. The location of near Elizabeth agrees with the 1860 Federal Census taken when he was young. It is also well to note that as in many cases the census date has multiple birth years. His birth is shown as about 1857, 1858, and 1859. The 1857 agrees with the old family Bible and with his tombstone.
