Orpha Blanche Bennett Blank
Birth: Jun. 2, 1885
Auglaize County
Ohio, USA
Death: Jun. 24, 1907
Auglaize County
Ohio, USA

Blanche Bennett Blank, daughter of T.S. and Alvira Bennett, was born the 2nd day of June, 1885, and her earthly ties were severed the 24th day of June, 1907, at the early age of 22 years and 22 days.

She spent her childhood and youth at home, where she was a general favorite. Those who knew her devotion to principle and high purpose, those who knew her generous, mellow heart can best understand her life.

January 30th 1904 she was united in marriage with C.E. Blank. Possessing a unique and charming personality, she was, indeed, a true helpmate for him. This union was blest with two children. Hazel Ivonne, born February 10, 1905, but hearkened unto the Master's call just twenty-eight days later, and Byron Bennett, born May 5, 1907, still remains to manifest many of the endearing characteristics of his devoted mother. Her domestic life was happy; no home e're lost a rarer jewel.

The wife and mother leaves her unfinished task at the close of life's day. To her husband, little son, parents, two brothers, three sisters, and the immediate family circle her loss is irreparable, and they truly feel that the gladness and cheer of her inspiring life have indeed gone from out their household.

Uniting early with the Methodist Protestant Church, during the Ministry of Rev. Woodworth, she faithfully served her Master through the various agencies that duty called, and has continued zealous in her Christian work. She made and retained friends readily, and socially was most highly esteemed. It was, indeed, a privilege to have known her and to have enjoyed her friendship.

From our finite view we wonder why she was taken, for all that human love and talent could do, did not avail. Yet we recognize that He who holds our lives in the hollow of his hand never makes a mistake; so, in sorrow we accede to His will, knowing that she is present with the Lord.
