John Brewer, eldest son of John & Elizabeth Brewer of Sudbury on 29 September 1669, he settled in Watertown Farms (now Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts). The Vital Records of Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts indicate he married Hannah Jones 5 July 1693. Henry Bond, M.D. indicates this is probably an error in recording the marriage and all indications are that his wife's name was Mary Jones and their marriage date is also 5 July 1693. Following his death, his widow, Mary, was licensed, 1 January 1716/17, to keep a public house. He died in Weston, Middlesex, Massachusetts 5 May 1709
