Milo was born July 7, 1910 in Dundas, Illinois, the son of Roy and Lura May Taylor Burnell. He was vice president of Chambers, Bering & Quinlan Co. before his retirement in 1974. He married Mary A. Burton in 1935 and they had 3 daughters: Lura Kay (Ference), Judith Ann (Edmiston) and Joy Lee (Burris); stepsisters: Mrs. Don (Doris) Collins, Mrs. Glen (Neola) Thompson and a half sister: Mrs. John (Maxine) Tarr.
