MRS. H. A. BLAIR FUNERAL FRIDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Isabelle Blair, wife of H. A. Blair, who died early Thursday afternoon at the family home on Whitney Avenue, will be held at 8 O'clock this (Friday) afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Atlee Green, at 403 Wayne St. burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Lentz Service.

Mrs. Blair had been in failing health for many years and had been an invalid for the past eight years. Death was due to general infirmities incident to her advancing age.

Marjorie Isabella Owens was born March 14, 1861, at Little Rock, Ark., and following the death of her father who was killed in the civil War she and her mother lived at Memphis and then in Poplar Bluff. When a young girl she went to Tennessee to live with an uncle, and in 1879 at Union City, Tenn., she was married to H. A.Blair. Mr. and Mrs. Blair have lived in and near Kennett for the greater part of the past 40 years, returning to Kennett for the third time in 1924 and have since made their home in this city.

Mr. and Mrs. Blair are the parents of nine children, three of whom, Bransford, Cass and Talmedge, preceded them in death. In addition to her husband, Mr. Blair is survived by the following children: Herman and Owen Blair of Paducah, Ky., Carl Blair of Fort Smith, Ark., Mrs. Herbert Clark of St. Louis, Cecil Blair of Sikeston, and Mrs. Atlee Green of this city. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren. Mrs. Blair had been a member of the Presbyterian Church since a young woman.
