Oldest son of Charles Stacy Blankenship and Minnie Bell Cason Blankenship.

He married May Bell Jordon in 1927. The couple had three children: Peggy Bell Blankenship, Charles Stephen "Steve" Blankenship, and Ada Frances Blankenship Norfleet.

After May Bell Jordan's death, Stacy married Georginia "Jean" Tranor Adams. There were no children born of this union.
