Patrick George Gill, 26, of Lambertville and Sarasota, Fla., died April 24, 2007 at Perrysburg Hospice in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Services were held April 30 at Little Flower Catholic Church, Toledo. Burial was in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, Ohio, was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Oct. 28, 1980. He was the son of Debbie and John King and Christopher and Mary Gill.

He graduated from Bedford High School in 1999, where he served as captain of the football team. He was the leading scorer during his senior year with nine touchdowns.

After high school, he served as a squad leader in the Army.

He also had worked at Snowden Construction and King Electric.

He enjoyed water skiing, wake boarding and kite boarding.

In addition to his parents and stepparents, he is survived by three brothers, Christopher (Amy), Jeff (Sarah) and David, and three sisters, Sherry (Mike) Weirich, and Mary and Candice King.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Elizabeth Gill and John Cuno.

Memorials may be made to stepping stones in his name at the Toledo Zoo or to one of the Toledo MetroParks.
