Eugene Peirce, s/o William R. and Anna (Schuele) Peirce, was married to Anna G. E. (Robison) Peirce. They were the parents of two daughters, Jeanne Laughhead and Anna "Nancy" Gibson and grandparents of Jeanne Laughhead and Jeanne and Nancy Gibson. He worked for several years as a department store window decorator then later as paymaster for a manufacturer, both in Philadelphia. Eugene was a Lutheran for most of his life.
