I wanted to write about my Dad, he was one of the most understanding, gentle people I knew. He would play games with my brothers and me and tell jokes, play tricks and he loved holidays. He could make you smile and laugh but yet he was firm and let you know if he was unhappy with what you did, but he was always there thru thick and thin, helping, caring and his grandchildren, so adored him. He started the first union at Viking and also help start the Community Union Bank in our town, my Dad was there to help anyone who needed it, he cared about his fellow man, we miss him so much, there is not a day that goes by that we don't think or talk of him and know that he is watching over us and still taking care of his family.

The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
He leadeth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the
paths of righeousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
for thou art with me, thy rod and
thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies.
Thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow
me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the
Lord for ever.
