Both Ebenezer and Abigail are buried in Hill Top church Cemetery Mendham, NJ. Ebenezer Jr. was much esteemed as a magistrate, a Judge of the Quarter Sessions, Major of the militia, a chief settler of Morris county.

Ebenezer Jr. was the first recorded genealogist of the Byram family. Ebenezer Byram Esq., formerly of Mendham, Morris County, New Jersey, whose father of the same name removed from Bridgewater, Massachusetts to Mendham about the year 1744, where he built and kept till his death the noted "Black Horse Tavern" and which was continued by his son Ebenezer Byram, till his death also".
