George West Van Siclen, a cousin of Mrs. R. V. Townsend of Cortland, died in Cornwall, N. Y., April 19, and was buried in Greenwood cemetery, in Brooklyn. He was the founder of the Title Guarantee and Trust Co. of New York and of the Holland society. He was a practicing lawyer in New York for thirty-six years. He was a member of the Twilight club, the New England society, the Sons of the American Revolution and the American Geographical society.
