Sarah Ann Baskett was the daughter of William W. Baskett of Roane County, TN. She was first married in 1827 to John T. East who died 1834 in Roane County and by whom she had 2 sons- Alonzo Vana (1828) and Thomas (1831). She married 2ndly, Samuel Day on 3 Oct 1835 in Roane County and bore him 6 children- William (1836), John (1838), Samuel (1839), Robert (1842), Elizabeth (1844) and Sarah E. (1845).

The date of death of Sarah Day occured in the 1870s. The date of her death inscribed on her gravestone lacks the final digit (187_). It was never inscribed, perhaps because the markers were placed several years later.

The cemetery is no longer being maintained and is located amongst trees on the Jones farm off of Tennessee Route 70 (Old Rockwood Road) near the unincorporated community of Ozone.
