From California to Nevada and back again, her life was busy and very family oriented. Her father was an immigrant from Ireland, and her mother's family had similar beginnings. Even after marrying she visited her family often when out of state. She was a working mother long before it was commonplace. She was a great baker and enjoyed growing various flowers and vegetables. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
