Charles W. Everett, age 83 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2007 in North Little Rock. He was born September 3, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Catheryn Everett. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Charles served 28 years in the U.S. Army and Air Force and retired with the rank of MSGT. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Arline Ferchie Everett, daughter, Dolly Weeks and her husband Jerry and grandson, Bart Weeks and his wife Heather. Private family services are arranged. Visitation is 5-7 p.m., Thursday, January 18 at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society. I'll never forget this wonderful man who I met my first day of school September 1955 at Jacksonville Elementary School Jacksonville Arkansas. Also first time I met Dolly. He was a wonderful father and it was an honor for me to have known him.
