LEMIEUX, EARL J., 82, husband of the late Evelyn (Morrell) Lemieux, died suddenly on Sunday at his home. Born in Seekonk he was the son of the late William J. and Eva (Miranda) Lemieux. Mr. Lemieux served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Later, while he lived in Seattle, he worked for the Boeing Co. After returning to Seekonk, he was employed by the Seekonk School Department, retiring as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of the Seekonk Post #311 American Legion. Survivors include; a daughter, Melody Rupert and her husband Wayne, 2 sons, Steven and his wife, Kathleen, Guy and Scott Lemieux, grandsons Jason Sluzewski and his wife Marcia and Jeff Lemieux, a great granddaughter Beatrix Sluzewski and a sister, Agnes Dorion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Ave., Seekonk. Calling hours are Tuesday, from 5-8 PM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Seekonk Cemetery.
