Johnny is the second son of Michael and Janie Sanchez, and my Grandson. He was born at the home of his maternal grandparents, J R and Jean Davidson. He attended Englewood Christian Church and Academy most of his life.
We lost Johnny in a tragic accident just before his 12th birthday. Not a day goes by that we don't think of him and miss his sweet smile. He will be in our hearts forever.
Johnny loved the Lord. He walks with Angels.
* There are pictures of Johnny from fourteen months to eleven years. If you have the time, please look at them all.
"Beneath this humble stone, here lies a youth; Whose soul was goodness, and whose heart was truth!" -author unknown
Johnny could recite ALL the presidents names in order. I can't even recite the presidents since I was born.
One time we were in my Malibu, Johnny asked me how fast it could go. I told him, "the speed limit." He said, "No really, how fast can it go?"
Johnny's family donated his organs. He was a big enough young man that all of his organs went to adults. We may not know God's plan for us but Johnny left this world praying.
His family continues to honor his birthday every year with a cake and we eat dinner at his favorite restaurant, Applebee's. We miss you Johnny.
"Here rests sweet innocence and love, his soul is fled to joys above."

When something horrific happens, we as humans, tend to lash out and want to blame someone. As Christians, we say, "Why God? Why did you let this happen?"
I found the only answer I'm going to get (this side of Heaven) in a book, "Delta Belles" by Penelope J Stokes. Excerpt: "As if God sits up there pullings the strings like some cosmic puppeteer, for good or ill. God isn't up there at all, but down here, in the trenches, experiencing life's joys and agonies with us and within us.
Chaos impinges upon order. We live in a bent and broken world. Suffering is as much a part of life as joy.
In our suffering, God suffers too, and when we weep, God's tears drip down like rain."
It was raining the day we buried Johnny.
OUR 'JOHNNY BOY'
Note: It warms my heart to see the messages that so many have left for you, Johnny. These people are so kind. I read the messages over and over, they give me comfort. God bless you all. Johnny is my Grandson.

Remembering YOU on the day you were born. It's hard to believe it's been fourteen years since we lost you. Seems like only yesterday I was looking at your beautiful smiling face. Forever, your loving GG.|
