Jerry's parents were Robert (Bob) and Alice (Bolen) Siler He was a member of the Lawrence Street Baptist Church.
If you were a friend of Jerry Siler, you knew you had a friend you could count on. He was very protective of his friends and family, and he showed his love for them in the way he lived.
If you were a friend of Jerry Siler, you laughed a lot when you were with him. You couldn't help it - when he laughed, it was a way-down-deep, from-the-heart laugh.
If you were a friend of Jerry Siler, you knew he loved his Country. He served two tours of duty in Viet Nam with the U.S. Navy.
Jerry was married to Debbie. Their son and four daughters are going to miss him a lot, as will the rest of his family. Everyone who was his friend is going also to miss the big guy.
Jerry's birthday and my husband's birthday were one year apart, to the day. They were life-long friends. Tim always said Jerry was his first birthday present. Heaven's angels must be rejoicing that their friendship now indeed will never end.
