Dayna was born to Daniel and Evelyn (Troxel) Potter. She did everything from owning the Hounds Tooth Inn in Dickinson TX to working oil refineries. She was an Archaeologist for the Department of the Army and finally a high school science teacher.
She refused to settle when it came to knowledge. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Dayna loved the thought of being "Nana" and growing old.
She left far too soon and is missed by those whose lives she touched

It seems like yesterday but it's been a long five years. I love you Dayna and I miss you. As I stood outside last night on the anniversary of your passing, I felt your presence. There isn't a minute that goes by that I don't think of you.|
