Carol B. Christmas, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Prestige Assisted Living at Smoketree. She was born on August 16, 1921 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
Carol married her best friend, Carl Christmas on March 15, 1945. Together they moved to Lake Havasu City in 1979, coming from Dayton, Ohio, where Carol worked for Ohio Bell for 36 years as a manager. Carol and Carl loved swimming, traveling, snow skiing, water skiing and boating. Carl preceded Carol in death on March 12, 2006 in Lake Havasu. She was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers Club and a member of Community Presbyterian Church.
Carol is survived by her sister, Audrey Brown of Westchester, PA.; niece, Sandra Hole and nephew, Richard Brown. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Carl Christmas on March 12, 2006 and her brother, John Brown.
A Memorial Service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date. Inurnment will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carol's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, LHC. AZ. 86405.
