Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pauline was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Columbus, to Lester and Florence Clinton. She attended Minot schools and Lakewood Park Bible School in Devils Lake. She also attended Zion Bible Institute in Chicago. She was employed at Minot's Trinity Hospital, Home on the Range for Boys, St. Alexius Medical Center, and Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center.
She loved her Lord and served him faithfully, pioneering a church, teaching Sunday school and serving on the church board; she faithfully served her Lord wherever and whenever she was given the opportunity. God is telling her, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." She is rejoicing with the angels.
Pauline is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marvel (David) Kallappa and Rose (Larry) Schanz; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark (Pam) Schwede; her granddaughter, Krista (Joe) Wilson; her grandson, Jason (Mandy) Schwede; her adopted granddaughter, Jeanne; three stepgranddaughters, Rose, Hallie and Sylvia, Huron, S.D.; her stepgrandson, Grant, Salt Lake City; eight great-grandchilden, Lexi, Hanna, Sylvia, Jane, Ivory, Janice, Tristyn, Kane and Domonic; and one adopted great-granddaughter, Mae Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Florence Clinton; her husband, Arlie; her son, Arlie Kenneth; one granddaughter, Zoe; her brother, Orville; and her sisters, Irene, Mary, Margaret, Florence and Jesse.
