William Fox
A four-year resident of Vancouver, William Fox, 75, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 1997. Mr. Fox worked as a carpenter for Peter Kiewit and Sons for many years.
He was born June 10, 1922, in Laurel, Mont. An avid fisherman and hunter, Mr. Fox played the harmonica and refinished antique furniture. He panned for gold and uranium and dug sapphires.
A graveside service was this morning at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam, of Centralia; two daughters, Cynthia Fox of Vancouver and Judie Laursen of Florence, Mont.; one brother, Phillip of Laurel; one sister, Esther Frank of Billings, Mont.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donors choice.
