Carl was born in Wakeeney, Trego County, Kansas on April 11, 1908. He was born to Fred Bennett(Bernt) Anderson and Rebecca Longshore Reynolds. They left Kansas and ended up in California in 1925 settling in San Joaquin County. He served in The Navy. Carl Married Beth Yvonne Hathaway August 8, 1935 in Escalon, San Joaquin County, California. They then moved to San Francisco and Carl worked at the US Naval ship yard (Hunters Point) as a welder. He passed away June 7, 1958. He was survived by his wife Beth, and children Ardene, Richard (Dick), Michelle and Terry. He is buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery.
