Junius O. "Sonny" Tuley, 86, a retired U.S. Air Force sergeant, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, chapel of J.E. Foust Funeral Home, 523 S. Main St., Grapevine. Interment: Medlin Cemetery, Trophy Club. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Sonny was born Jan. 14, 1925, in McKinney to Wesley Walker and Ivory Camella Plant Tuley. He retired from the United States Air Force and teaching. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia Elizabeth Tuley; his son, William David Tuley; and his brothers, Thomas Millard Tulley, J.D. Tuley, Garvin Brad Tuley, Benny Murray Tuley and Edgar Lee Tuley.
Survivors: Daughters, Kaye Pressley and husband, Loy, Kari Beaty and husband, John; nieces, Donna Love, Margie Field and husband, Robert, Betty Reynolds and husband, Charlie; nephews, Ben Tuley, Gene Tulley and wife, Connie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews.
