New Boston, Texas-- Kathryn Elizabeth Taylor, 88, of Redwater, Texas, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Taylor was born July 21, 1923, in Butterfield, Ark. She was retired from Texarkana Pickle Plant, founder of Texarkana Serenity Club and member of Maud United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Taylor. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Nona Roark and Colonel George Stansell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a number of nieces nephews and other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lydia Cemetery, DeKalb, Texas. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
