EDGERTON - Mrs. Frank W. Hadden, 86, died Saturday in a Janesville hospital after a long illness. She was a life resident of Rock County except for several years residence in Dodgeville and Monroe.
The former Mabel Green, daughter of Henry and Jane Stiles Green, was born May 1, 1878, in Milton Junction. She was married to Frank W. Hadden Nov. 29, 1899. She was a member of the Edgerton Congregational Church, Daughters of the King, and Benefit Circle.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Garness, Coronado, Calif.; two sons, Archie of Madison, and Kenneth, of Edgerton; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A son, Walter, predeceased her in 1959.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Congregational Church, the Rev. Elmo Fitz Randolph, Milton, officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery.
