Alexander Pacioff - Alexander (Alex) Pavloff, 67, of Glen Carbon died Monday about 7:15 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, following a lingering illness. A Glen Carbon resident nine years, Mr. Pavloff was born Aug. 18, 1896 in Bulgaria. His parents were Mr and Mrs. Dimetra Pavloff.
Survivors include his wife, the former Cecil Baugh, whom he married Sept. 23, 1923 in Waterloo; a son, Jerry F. at home; two brothers and a sister. One child preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Lesley Marks Funeral Home after 7 p m . Tuesday until Thursday noon. Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Assembly of God Church, Edwardsville, with the Rev. James Graham officiating, assisted by the Rev Arlando Hale of Glen Carbon.
Interment will be in the Glen Carbon Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Edward Shemwell, Staley Hall, Eugene McKee, Ronald McKee, Gary Baugh and Larry Hale.
