"Mrs. Della C. Southworth, aged 90, of Morris, died April 27, following an illness of several years. She was born November 9, 1867, in Maple Grove in the Town of Morris, daughter of Erastus and Sarabette (Bennett) Jakes Carr. She was married to William R. Southworth in New Lisbon on September 21, 1885. He died February 12, 1930. She was a resident of New Lisbon until 1948 when she went to make her home with her son, Claude Robert Southworth, in Endicott. He died September 1, 1955, and she came to live with her niece, Mrs. Mary Edwards of Oneonta. For the past year she had been cared for by a cousin, Mrs. Florence Mallory of Morris. She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Jester of New Lisbon, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nettie Southworth of Johnson City; two nieces, Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Lena Culver of Cannonsburg, Pa.; two nephews, Harry Pegg of Maple Grove, and Ira Pegg of Morris, and several cousins ...
