Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Richard and Larry, both of Ida Grove and Gerald of Plano, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Barbara) Gronau of Odebolt, Iowa; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lucille Nielsen of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Josephine Koetz of Alsea, Oregon; one brother, John of Nemaha; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
