Florence was the youngest daughter of Elmer Neff and Lena Zimmer She had lost her mother at a young age and went to live with her older sister,my grandmother; Beulah Neff and her husband, my Grandfather; Armond Wheeler. I know little of her early years. I know she had two children fathered by Spencer "Slip" Teff. Beulah and Norman Neff, both born in Norwich, Chenango County,New York that she had put up for adoption. Some how she knew where and how they were. She always loved them and never forgot them. She later Had a Son Ricky Lee Neff who's father was Earl Hall. Then she married William Williams of Binghampton, Broom county. They had four children Joy, Linda, Douglas and Mercey. They broke up and she also put Mercey up for adoption; As with Beulah and Norman she knew how Mercey was. She always loved all her children and never forgot any of them. There had been many of hard times for Florence. Aunt Florence loved flowers. She could grow anything. She loved Poopsy her lovely long haired cat that loved her and polish ham.
Aunt Florence and Aunt Iva Where also very close; for she was the youngest sister of her mother. Aunt Florence was loved very much. My son Edward and I use to spend a lot of time with her when we were young. She was one of my Most Favorite People in the world. I wish I had asked her questions when I had the chance. I spent a lot of time with her when I was younger. I wish I had spent more. Everyone should have at least One Aunt Florence in their life. She helped me become who I am. I am a lucky women. For her sister Beulah and brother in law Armond were my Grandparents. The three of them I would not trade for anything. I miss them all more than words can tell. No matter how much time goes by, they are still in my heart. I thank God so much for them.
