Eleanora C. Seymour, 89, of Waterman, IL, passed away Monday, October 17, 2005 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. She was born on September 15, 1916, in Warrenville, IL, the daughter of John and Eva (Schwartz) Behr. She married Kenneth R. Seymour on February 15, 1936, in Belvidere, IL.
Eleanora was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb. She was a volunteer at N.I.C.E. in Shabbona, IL, was an avid bingo player, and loved attending her grandchildren's activities.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mark) Fenske of Waterman; three grandchildren, Mark (Jacquie) Fenske, Jr. of Gardner, IL, Tara Fenske of Washington, D.C., and Michael (Jennifer) Fenske of Rockford, IL; two great grandchildren, Katelyn Jade Fenske and Mark Steven Fenske, III both of Gardner; one sister, Rita Bailey of Vienna, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; two brothers, Wilbur Behr and Edwin Behr; and one sister, Pauline Elvin.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005 at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb, with Fr. Kenneth J. Anderson officiating. Burial will follow services at St. Peter & St. Paul's Cemetery in Naperville, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 4:00 p.m. until the Spiritual Wake Service at 8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Ltd in DeKalb.
