Mattie lived to be 100 years old. She loved her family and put them first in thought and action. She was a wonderful cook and baked pies that were flown around the world. She had 6 children. One of her sons, passed at the age of 3. She belonged to the South Hutchinson Mennonite Church. She was married to Jerry R. Bontrager in Yoder, on Sept. 22, 1925. She is a wonderful person and is sorely missed.
